I'm concerned about the direction they're going with the emphasis on inroad over tension and the long TULs.

Ok, Drew...time for the 2nd grade smackdown: meet admin. jr., affectionately known as "Moose". 8 1/2, 5'2", 130 lbs of "screaming steel" (as the great Dusty Rhodes used to say....I know, I'm dating myself!) I'm waiting until he's 10 to start him on deadlifts affraid cheers

I don't think there's any reason not to start children on weight lifting as soon as they are mature enough to follow directions and take it seriously, although I would recommend keeping the weights lower, reps higher and focusing more on form.

I agree....I'm just going to start him flipping tractor tires though Evil or Very Mad lol!
