Drew Baye is an established HIT trainer in Florida who has graciously agreed to contribute to our fledgling forum. I'd ask Drew to introduce himself in perhaps more detail, and ask all of you to visit his site, baye.com and take advantage of the articles published there. Drew has been threatening to put out a book soon; all the more reason for us to keep tabs on him Cool Twisted Evil Visit his site for lots of good info. as well: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Welcome Drew Empty Thanks

Post  Drew Baye Thu Apr 15, 2010 2:16 am

For those who don't know me, I started working out in junior high, way back in the late 1980's, and after having wasted several thousands of hours on conventional bodybuilding routines I eventually learned about and started doing high intensity training in college in the early '90's. I used HIT to transform myself from a skinny 150 pounds to a ripped 180, competed in drug-tested bodybuilding, and started working as a personal trainer in college.

Eventually, through my first employer and mentor Mike Moran, I would come to know both Mike Mentzer and Ken Hutchins, who would become my biggest influences. In '96 I moved to Florida to work with Ken, and through him I met and learned from many of the top experts on high intensity training, including Ellington Darden, Jim Flanagan, Joe Mullen, and Nautilus inventor Arthur Jones.

I currently do one-on-one training in the Orlando area, write about exercise and nutrition on my web site at baye.com, and am working on a series of books on bodybuilding with high intensity training.

I'm looking forward to discussing training and nutrition here and helping people achieve their goals.

Hi Drew,

good to see you here! I will be interested to pick your mind about the new MP protocol as recently discussed on BBS.

Later!

Thanks for your time Drew. Skinny 150 to ripped 180...that's right where I'd like to be!
